The DCC Snubber helps filter spikes that can cause decoder damage. Especially useful with longer DCC bus lengths (over 30′). Start with one Snubber across the DCC bus at the far end, then add additional Snubber(s) if decoder problems persist. If your DCC bus has multiple endpoints you can install a Snubber at each one. Place on the DCC bus itself, not downstream of current detectors on block feeders. Suitable for N, HO, O and S scales. Screw terminals and small size (approximately 1-1/4″ x 3/4″) makes installation easy.
