Utah Jct Water Tank Incredible model of the D&SL tank at Utah Junction built by Dick Roberts MMR The top, bottom and sides of the tank, made from 2-1/2″ PVC pipe caps. One cap was cut down to create the correct vertical side height. The assembled tank body. Horizontal seams were scribed on the lathe. Using a wire to lay out the seam / rivet lines on the tank top. The tank rivet decals are in place. The legs were fabricated using parts from two tank kits. Closeup of the tank hatch details. The tank is complete and heading for the paint shop.
